Joshua Sim is an emerging lens-based artist and a Philosophy and Anthropology student from Melbourne, Australia.

His critical yet creative way of seeing the world is grounded in his experiences of growing up mixed-race in Australia , his love for his Chinese Peranakan and Goan Indian heritage, as well as a unique mix of interests that compel him to explore the complexities of the human condition.

Joshua has held a number of exhibitions and galleries across Melbourne and beyond in hopes to continue creating dialogue about shared experiences such as belonging, alienation, liberty, and other modern-day problems through art and public speaking.
