Selva is a Melbourne-based self-taught artist known for his contemporary abstract paintings. Using shapes, colours, and lines, he creates playful and vibrant artworks that aim to evoke the inner child in viewers. Originally from Malaysia, Selva pursued his passion for art, leaving behind his previous profession. Through his artistic journey, he explores self-discovery and contemplates the idea that existence may be akin to a lucid dream. While abstract painting has been his primary focus for the past decade, Selva plans to expand his artistic horizons into sculpture and printmaking.
