Rebecca is drawn to the idea of happiness, our constant pursuit of it and its uniquely ephemeral nature. 

Exploring the complexities of loneliness, gender and consciousness her work is created with thin layers of paint, scratchy gestural brush-strokes and fields of colour. 

Rebecca sources and collect a wide range of imagery, symbols of beauty and femininity – motifs that tap into connection and emotion. The works create nonlinear narratives, piecing together elements and materials to retell an unknown story that exists somewhere between reality and a dream.
